Dolce&Gabbana Winter 2015 Mens Fashion Show

Dolce and Gabbanna F/W 14.14 Mens Collection was presented during Milan Fashion Week


Normans (from Northmen or Norsemen) were Scandinavian group of people settled in Denmark, Norway of Sweden. The history of Norman's Sicily began with their conquering of the island which took place in 1061 through a landing in Messina.







The Dolce and Gabbanna Mens Winter 2015 collection takes inspiration from the Norman Kings as well as from the architecture of Norman Sicily as seen in Palermo in Norman Building, the Cathedral and the Church of the Martorana.

Prints: they reperesentNorman Sicily through the King's vest the Armor of the Knights and the reproduction of Norman Architecture
Embroideries:
embroidered and stud sheepskin coats, knits are embroidered to obtain the effect of an armor
Accessories: Handmade wood hoods embroidered to obtain armor-life effect. Shoes are made of fur, embellished and in velvet and studded.
Boots are studded. Multi-coloured sneakers. Satchel and backpacks adored with Norman prints.

Finale: Habotai silk-printed suits doubled with cashmere, worn with bowties and velvet slippers with bows.
