The Paperboy TRAILER (2012)

The new film of Australia's prime actress Nicole Kidman and former "High School Musical" actor Zac Efron, "The Paperboy", received mixed reviews when it premiered in the Cannes Film Festival.
"The Paperboy" is based on a murder mystery by Peter Dexter, Director Lee Daniels presented the story in a very plain manner.

He shoots lower middle-class Southern living room and offices, and the people in them, the way they really looked in
1969. Daniels projected the laidback aura of the South. It serves that he wanted to us some movies will never show the audience.

The movie reminds a lot of Shadowboxer. A lot of people were shocked how odd a scene in the movie where
Nicole Kidman pissed on Zac Efron when he want string by a jellyfish as a form of first aid. Many critics says that Daniel's is a very talented director only if he will get his hannds on a good material.

"The Paperboy" is a thriller that follows the story of a reporter (Matthew Counaghey) and his brother (Zac Efron), in investigating a murder case in order to a free a man (John Cusack) on death-row. Nicole Kidman plays the role of a mysterious woman who writes letters to men in prison and brings the case of Cusack's inmate to the attention of the brothers.

Zac Efron said that making love with the prime Australian actress Nicole Kidman, although it is fake, is one of the highlights of his life and career.

The 24-year-old actor was nothing but delighted when he landed the role of Nicole Kidman's love for the film "The Paperboy". The actor recently completed the shoot for the thriller, which based on the novel by American author Pete Dexter, in New Orleans, Louisiana and he has relished in his time with Kidman.
Efron told AAP: "She's my love interest. . Nicole is so gorgeous. It was everything you dreamed of. She was a lovely person. I pinch myself everyday especially afterv doing love scenes with Nicole Kidman. It wa s the highlight of my life. Nicole was something else and was always in character. She didn't get weird method, like some actors, but I have never seen anyone so centered."

The Story of Adele H. (1975) Trailer

Isabelle Adjani in "The Story of Adele H"
Francois Truffaut's biotragedy THE STORY OF ADELE H (1975). For nearly thirty years French beauty Isabelle Adjani held the second for the Young Best Actress Nominee of all time, she was 20 when Adele H made her an international star. To add to Adjani's Oscar Curio factor, she still holds another record: she's the only actress ever nominated twice for French language performances. Nomination #2 came for another biotragedy Camille Claudel (1988). Marion Cotillard surely hopes to tie that particular Best Actress, record later this year in Rust and Bone (2012).Adjani all but vanished from silence round about the time she and Daniel Day-Lewis procreated and split. The sensational Queen Margot (1994) and the reviled Diabolique (1996) with Sharon Stone where her last big draws so many readers are unfamiliar and that this Best Shot subject would be a fresh choice.Adele H doesn't just lie to herself though. She lies to virtually everyone in her relentless pursuit of her former lover Lt. Albert Pinson (Bruce Robinson) who she intends to marry. She punder herself repeatedly on her willingness to cross the Ocean for him, a big deal in 1863.

Francois Truffaut's
marriage of traditional costume drama and nouvelle vague experimentation is sometimes an akward one the film's take on letter which Adele mostly reads aloud as she writes, sometimes directly to the camera as in this gorgeous passage when Adele recites an entire letter to daddy while the camera actually crosses the Ocean (and then some maps) to deliver it.

She writes a letter to daddy. . .
My dear Parents,
I have just married Lieutenant Pinson. The ceremony took place Saturday in a church in Halifax. I need money for my trousseau. I must have 300 francs immediately. . . in addition to my allowance. If you'd taken care of my music as I've ask you 100 times that could bring me in some money and I wouldn't have to behave like a beggar.

It's in the letter readings when
Adjani earns the historic Oscar nominations. Her lies are so proud and delivered with such entitled petulance what she almost seems thrilled to be reciting them. What's false is true and Adele believes this with religious conviction. And not just Sunday only conviction but a text-revical sort of fanaticism. Similarly perverse beats occur when she seems turned on by it. Pinson's sexual interest in everyone but her. Adjani is also excellent at delineating Adele's complex relationship to her family name.

Great moments in costuming. Toward the end of the film, the inevitable occurs and Adele's internal madness is acutely externalized. After a day bites at her heels, tearing her dress, she wanders the streets.
In an 18 second unbroken shot she approach oblivion to the camera she's often looking at. The camera briefly focuses on the ragged hem of her once rich gown as she pulls in before it pans up again to, a bookstore window where Adele's lonely never-suitor stares at his former friend, non utterly alien. She spins about on the street muttering (inaudible) nonsense to herself. She's always spoken nonsense but now that everyone can hear it for what it is, there's no point in listening.

Maleficent

Production began on Maleficent (2014) taday. A movie were both totally in for & dreading for very different reasons simultaneously. Of course pre-production has long been a foot as the new photo of the incomparable Angelina Jolie as Disney's best villainess attests. Oscar nominated costume designer Anna B Sheppard (Schindler's List) has been hard at work (obviously) along w/ the make-up dept. in replicating dangerously sharp cheekboned horned devil look.
The film will star Angelina Jolie as Maleficent & Fanning the Younger as Sleeping Beauty along w/ Sharito Copley (District 9), Sam Riley (Control), some Mike Leigh regulars & Juno Temple.
