Alexander Skarsgard catches some rays on True Blood

Smack of Classism

NYC condo planned with separate entrances for rich, poor people.

There's a new luxury condo being planned on
Manhattan's Upper Westside, and the developer is seeking a ton of tax breaks by building 55 - low income units in the same building. The catch? those for the poor are going to face away from the Hudson River (maybe as expected), and oh, yeah they'll also have a separate entrance, elevator & maintenance company. Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal a Democrat who represents the Upper West Side,

said the developers plans "smack of classism" and is urging the city Department of Housing Preservation and Develop to deny the company its tax breaks.
